Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah had a variety of different haircuts during his career. He was most recognized as an excellent politician, condottiero and military leader. However, the Sahabah of Muhammad was mainly known for his special appearances and his adorable character. Before his tragic death at the age of 639 he was often talked about in magazines and tabloids because of his outstanding hair.
